EMPTIES #2

Hey everyone! I’ve only ever done one empties post on here before so I’ve saved up a few items that I’ve used up over the past 5 months, weirdly enough it’s not a very varied list but a lot of the same product have been used up and I’m guilty of throwing a few things away that I forgot to save for this post!

Anyway I’ll get straight into it with my skincare I’ve used up.

I’ve used up three of the normal sized Garnier Micellar waters and one of the big ones but I forgot to keep it…oops! Aswell as one Garnier Rose Water toner and one Garnier Gel face wash. I’ve already got back ups of all of these as these are staples in my skincare routine. I’ve also used up two Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, this is my second cleanse in my routine as it keeps my face feeling moisturised.

Moving onto makeup, I’ve used up a full size Benefit Porefessional which I did love but I’ve now moved onto the Pearl Porefessional which I’m loving a hell of a lot more, it’s more suitable for my skin tone and feels less greasy. I also used up the ELF Hydrating primer, this has a similar texture to the Porefessional and it does brand itself as being Hydrating but I think it’s better at pore filling, I still really liked this but I’ve got no need for repurchasing it.

A foundation I’ve not really spoken about on my blog is the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr wear, I used up a full one of these rather quickly which did concern me but I loved the way it made my skin look, so I bought another one and I’ve also come to the end of that one, I don’t think I can justify buying another one for £35 when I go through it so quickly. Although I probably will go back to it one day as it has a medium buildable coverage a perfect shade match for me and has the best finish for my dehydrated skin.

I’ve gone through two of my favourite full coverage concealer the Nars Soft Matte complete concealer. I’m about to finish a 3rd one and buy another one, I can’t live without this concealer, I use this everywhere, it’s great a cleaning up my brows, priming my eyes, covering my dark circles, redness and big breakouts. I wish Nars did this exact concealer in foundation form I’d be set for life!

And another foundation I went through was my Revlon Colourstay, I’ve not been using this foundation for ages since before I bought the Fenty foundation as I’ve had no urge to go back to it, it also gets super messy so quickly. I’ve gone through more concealers than I ever thought, three Collection Lasting Perfection concealers in Fair and four Urban Decay Naked Skin concealers! I use the Collection concealer to correct my dullness and the Urban Decay concealer for my under eyes, I can’t believe I’ve gone through so many of them though!

I’ve been using the Nyx Micro Brow pencil for quite some time now and unsurprisngly I’ve gone through four of them in the shade Espresso! It’s a fabulous dupe for the ABH Brow Wiz and would pick this over the ABH pencil any day, there is hardly any difference. I also finally used up my beloved Nyx Control Freak brow gel, I would definitely repurchase this once I’ve used up my other brow gels lying around.

And my final two products I’ve used up are the Maybelline Lash Sensational and I’m already on my second bottle, I’ll always repurchase this it’s a great mascara for my shitty lashes! And yet again I’ve used up another MAC Studio Fix powder again this is another powder I’ll keep re-buying it just gives me such a flawless complexion especially under my eyes and it keeps my oils at bay for at least 7 hours!

And that is everything I’ve used up over the past few months, let me know if you love any of the products I’ve mentioned!

See you soon!xo
