Hey everyone! I’m back today with another tutorial which I mentioned in my June Favourites. Today I’m going to show you how I like to use the NYX Glam Liner Aqua Luxe Liner in the shade Nude. My full thoughts on the eyeliner will be in the post I linked above but I’m going to jump straight into the tutorial focusing more on the eyes in this one!
For brows:
- NYX Micro Brow pencil
- NYX Eyebrow Gel
- Nars Soft Matte Complete concealer
- NYX Control Freak
For the eyes I’m priming with the same Nars concealer and setting with an ivory coloured powder. The actual eyeshadow look is so so simple just take any warm brown or orange colour, I took a bit of burnt orange and Realgar from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette and blended this into my crease pretty loosely it doesn’t have to be that neat.
So then I created a black winged eyeliner that was pretty thin because I was going to create a double wing with the NYX liner. So for the black wing I used Kat Von D’s Tattoo eyeliner in Trooper and I also tightlined with the Nyx Tres Jolie gel eyeliner in Black.
So once you’ve perfected the shape of your winged liner, take the NYX Glam liner and follow the top line of the eyeliner as if you’re giving it an outline. I recommend closing your eye whilst you do this so the liner doesn’t imprint on your eyeshadow or onto the black liner. If you make a mistake it’s easy to go over the metallic liner with a black liquid liner.
For the rest of the eyes I ran the same orange shades on my lower lash line and lined my waterline with a nude pencil so I used MAC Nothing Sexier lip pencil.
For face products:
- Kat Von D Lock it Primer
- Revlon Colourstay
- MUFE Ultra HD foundation
- Nars Soft Matte complete concealer
- Collection Lasting Perfection
- Urban Decay Weightless skin concealer
- MUFE Ultra HD concealer
- MAC Studio Fix powder
- Nars Soft Velvet Loose Powder
- NYX Contour kit
- MAC Pearlmatte face powder (Fruity Juicy collection)
- Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (Moonstone)
I then coated my lashes with Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara and the final step is lips, I give you two options from Kat Von D. The first is the more wearable, Ophelia from her Everlasting Liquid lipstick range, which is the perfect compliment to the warm toned eyes. The other option I can give you is Witches from the same line, Witches is a pitch black matte liquid lipstick and this works so well!
So that’s all for this tutorial I hoped you liked it, I’ll be back soon hopefully with another tutorial and all my birthday posts! xo
This looks so good! You are so talented! I can barely just do a wing haha xx.
