A REINTRODUCTION

Hey my lovelies! Today I have a very different post for you, something a little more personal.

I started this blog at the start of summer in 2016 I was active throughout the summer until I began university then I abandoned it. I started to look through my blog again this past Christmas I published a few things and then gave up, so I’m restarting and reintroducing myself to you all. I have recently been uploading a lot I’ve had a lot of motivation to keep this little thing we have going and I’m starting to finally have the confidence to get my blog out there on my social media, it’s taken a lot for me to not feel weird about having a blog and showing it to people who I might not really talk to anymore, it’s been one of those secret things but everyone close to me has been supportive and they even help me out when it comes to taking photos and giving me a few little ideas.

As a part of my restart I switched up the style and theme of my blog and I no longer have an about section. I constantly switch up and change my information and knowing me I’d forget to update it. So here is me, an introduction to Stephanie Grace.

My full name is Stephanie Grace Whitehead, I’m currently 18 years old, my birthday is 9th July 1998 and I’m born and bred in Manchester, UK. I study Graphic Design at the University of Salford and I’ve just finished my first year there. I also work as a Sales Advisor at House of Fraser, Manchester.

Below is some of my design work you can see more of this on my website:

(I illustrated my feature image at the top of this post as well)

As you all know I’m a makeup junkie, I’ve never been trained as a makeup artist, all my tips and tricks I’ve got from Youtube and my friends. I started wearing makeup properly in the summer of 2014 and my first higher end purchase was Girl About Town lipstick by MAC. I especially love collecting palettes and lip products. Some of favourite makeup brands include Anastasia Beverly Hills, NYX, Zoeva, Revlon and MAC.

In terms of fashion I live my life in monochrome, if I experiment with colour it’s usually within my makeup, jackets or shoes. I have a metallic gold pair of trainers and a metallic blue ski coat that I wear loads. I also have an excessive collection of Vans sneakers. I get compared to Snow White regularly because of my pale skin and dark hair and I’m not mad about it, I love disney!

Another thing you should know about me is that I never ever remove my headphones from my head, I love music, I love tv shows and I love films, I’m always listening to something I can’t concentrate in pure silence. My favourite tv shows are Friends, The Big Bang Theory and Russell Howard’s Good News. Favourite films include The Lord of the rings triology and the first two Hobbit films but I’m also a sucker for animated Disney/Pixar films. I’m a classic pop punk lover and listen to a lot of new wave pop punk from the US and the UK. Following this I’m an avid gig goer, since 2013 I’ve been to 17 gigs varying from Asking Alexandra to Bastille.

So I think that covers a basic introduction to myself over the course of my posts you’ll get to know me a bit better and hopefully I’ll get to know all of you too!

Before I close off this post I’m just going to add a few personal type details about my skin, hair etc just so you can get a better idea of what products will suit me and if they will work for you too!

  • Very fair skin with a slight pink undertone
  • Blemish prone and a very porous t-zone
  • Fine lines right under my lower lash line
  • Texture/dry patches on my chin and around my nose
  • Texture on my top lip line
  • A lot of freckles
  • Overall very dehydrated skin
  • Medium brown hair
  • Never dyed
  • Dry coarse hair
  • Very thick
  • Naturally very curly

So I think that’s all for this introduction to myself, I can’t wait to show you everything I have planned for this blog, I’m going to Berlin tomorrow so when I get back I’ll be posting about my time there!

See you soon lovelies! Xo

    1. It’s strange isn’t it, you’d think especially now that blogging would be an ordinary fun thing to do but people still find it a bit strange as long as you have a few people who are close to you who support you then you’re ready to go! Xo
