MAC LIPSTICK COLLECTION

Hey guys I’m back with another small part of my makeup collection today. I’ve been talking about MAC a lot recently so to close of this unintentional series I’m going to be showing you my MAC lipstick collection today!

I’ve been low key collecting MAC lipsticks for 3 years, I got my first for my high school prom in 2014. This was also my first ever MAC product and I’ve explored the brand ever since. I’ve split my collection into three groups of 4 showcasing the nudes, the brights and the deeper colours. Do forgive some of my images as it was so sunny the exposure was horrendous but my swatches should give you a better idea of each shade.

NUDES

My nude selection contains:

• Japanese Maple (Cremesheen)

• Calm Heat (Matte)

• Kinda Sexy (Matte)

• Viva Glam II (Satin)

 

BRIGHTS

My brighter lipsticks include:

• Angel (Frost)

• Crosswires (Cremesheen)

• Girl About Town (Amplified)

• Viva Glam Rihanna (Frost)

 

DARKS (Purples and Browns)

My darker lipsticks include:

• Rebel (Satin)

• Craving (Amplified)

• Fast Play (Amplified)

• Whirl (Matte)

 

My favourite lipsticks out of my collection are Viva Glam II, Angel and Fast Play. Nude lipstick colours will always be my favourite and recently I’ve fallen out of love with stick lipsticks and found it easier to use liquid lipsticks. My favourite MAC formula is definitely a toss up between the satin and amplified. The satin lipsticks have full pigment and I find them the easiest and smoothest to apply but the amplified formula has that shimmer that makes the lips look juicier and less dry.

Other than all of the lipsticks shown I do have another MAC lipstick which was a part of the mattene collection, very creamy but pigmented colours and I have the shade Power my spirit which is the darkest true purple I have seen. But I couldn’t find it for this post to take pictures!
